having a moment

~ Full Moon in Virgo ~

My favorite way to work with astrology is to live my life, and look back and notice how the stars and planets seemed to be working in synchronicity with what was occurring (even when I wasn’t paying attention!). Through the language of metaphor and observation, the universe has patterns and phenomenal insights if we choose to notice. These connections offer insight for moments when we feel stuck, lost, challenged or even elated. All of our experiences can be mapped through the chart.

This full moon in Virgo (march 7, 2023) illuminates themes that began late August 2022, while Saturn moving into Pisces the same day will wrap up a longer 6 year transit of Saturn moving through Capricorn & Aquarius. This is some of the most seismic astrology of 2023!

Along the Pisces / Virgo axis, we connect to what it means to be of service to the realm of faith, possibility, and hope… (see this post an ode to virgo) and the ‘invisible’ work that goes into the labor required through devotional acts. What have you discovered over the past 6 months (while mars moves through the final degrees of gemini) that stirred the pot? How might some of the ideas or experiences over the past 6 months provide you with a unique opportunity if you’re willing to have faith and find purpose in creating something from what you have integrated over the past 6 years while Saturn moved through its home signs?

a reminder in case you missed it (pisces new moon 2023)

When I’m looking back at my timeline, one of the best ways to know what was happening in my life is to look through my photos on the specific dates mentioned. This is a screenshot of a poem from August 27, 2022 by Mary Oliver.
