Transits & current astrological placements can be an access point to attune to the rhythms of the cosmos. The natal chart, the map of the stars the moment you took your first breath, allows us to explore ways in which the unique map of the sky unfolds over time in relationship to the present moment. During times of change or uncertainty, we can turn to the chart as a point of reference, a kind of celestial clock, which can bring awareness to specific themes and archetypes that will arise on both a collective and personal level for set periods of time.
What are the nodes of the Moon?
Astronomically speaking, the nodes of the Moon are the two points in space where the Moon’s orbit around Earth intersects with the ecliptic (that is, the path the Sun traces in the sky from the perspective of us earthlings.) The North and South Nodes are always opposite each other in a chart (i.e. separated by 180°.) In many cultures, the nodes of the Moon have been depicted as dragons. The North Node represents the head of the dragon — a point of increase, according to Hellenistic and medieval astrologers. The South Node, or tail of the dragon, denotes a dwindling, by contrast. Eclipse “portals” are the two week period between a Solar Eclipse (when the Moon crosses over the Sun blocking the sunlight) and a Lunar Eclipse (when the Earth’s shadow visibly crosses over the Moon). These weeks open up new timelines, change, & upheaval which will shift what is out of alignment in our personal life & the collective.
October 14-28, 2023 was a threshold of the final Taurus eclipse in the previous series & the first Libra eclipse of the current series. One chapter closes, and another opens. Being a ‘double Venus’ ruled eclipse series and following a Venus retrograde this summer in Leo, this eclipse shifted the Venusian themes from inner values, posing a new question on the horizon of how to share our inner light with others in reciprocity.
How do we harmonize our most authentic, true self, in order to be of service to the collective in right relationship? What tools can we begin to cultivate in order to sense our own resonance and trust our own intuitive information in order to create & attract the experiences & relationships which will bring greater harmony to our life & place in the world?

As the Aries/Libra axis is activated by the current eclipse series, Mars themes will become a focus of expansion in how we ignite our divine spark and pioneer uncharted territory expressing our truth. It requires authentic self expression, courage, and willpower to boldly be our true self.
